Ex-Ondo Deputy Gov Emerges APA Presidential Candidate

A former Deputy Governor of the old Ondo State, Alhaji Adebayo Musa Ayeni, has emerged the presidential candidate of the African Peoples Alliance (APA) at the just-concluded presidential primaries of the party in Abuja.

The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr. Pascal Ijegalu, last week after its primaries, announced the emergence of Ayeni, who was the first civilian deputy governor in a military government, between 1990 and 1992.
In his acceptance speech, Ayeni, who was also the former member of the Board of Trustees (BoT), Chairman of Peoples Party (UNPP) thanked the leadership and members of the party for the trust reposed in him, promising to lead the party to victory in the 2015 general elections by the grace of God.
Ayeni, a seasoned politician and illustrious son of Emure Ekiti, in Ekiti State, promised to eradicate poverty and crime in Nigeria through creation of jobs and implementation of various programmes that would engender speedy development in the country.
The APA presidential candidate, who equally vowed to eradicate corruption at all levels in the country, added that his government would be transparent in the running of government if elected in the 2015 general election.
Ayeni promised to pioneer an all -inclusive government that  would regain socio-political and economic stability for the country through programmes that shall focus on the emancipation of the poor and the development of the nations abundant God-given human and natural resources under a transparent and accountable leadership
While calling on all Nigerians to support his party to win the elections at all levels so as to enable the people to enjoy dividends of democracy in the country, Ayeni therefore ask for fervent prayers to end the various challenges facing the country.
